The Three of Swords
represents sudden pain, suffering and betrayal. The situation
that the seeker is facing is now at its worst. If the seeker doesn't
know in what this is in regard too, then this card is serving
as a warning - there is something going on that you don't know
about or don't want to acknowledge. This card can also represent
that it is the seeker who is the one responsible for causing the
pain to others.
This is a card of heartbreak,
loss and disappointment. An emotional outburst. Tormenting ones
self with visions of disaster. You need to end the cause of your
pain. Sometimes it is by letting go and then the real healing
can begin.
An argument with a
friend. l Fear of losing the affections of others. Anticipating
the disapproval of others and allowing one's self to be held captive
by fear of other's criticism.
This can be in terms
of health (especially in terms of cardiac health) or relationships.
Reverse - Alienation.
Disorientation. Mistakes made amid confusion. Incompatibility.
A broken promise. End of an alliance. Distraction. Confusion.
Error. Mental anxieties.
