Nine of Swords

The Nine
of Swords signifies that things are not nearly as bad as the seeker
fears. In fact, the fears may be the seeker's real problem. This
card can also represent guilt or pure anguish. It is a warning card
to remind the seeker that even the smallest change can make a world
of difference.
This is
the card of anxiety and worry, sleeplessness and stress-induced
nightmares that can affect one's health. But the situation isn't
really as bad as you think it is. The sense of impending doom is
unfounded, but the pain it causes is real. Suffering in silence.
Mental anguish. If you don't feel you can deal with this on your
own, get counseling or stress management advice.
This card
can also represent a miscarriage.
Reverse
- Warranted suspicion and doubt. Undergoing a painful phase of retrospection
before moving on. Learning to focus positive thoughts to shake off
despair. Slanderous gossip. Reasonable fear.
