Four of Swords
The Four of Swords represents a rest after conflict or a need to rest in general. The seeker may wish to withdraw and regroup after a struggle. It is a time to step back and gain perspective and to think without rushing. This is a time for silence and meditation. Your strength is exhausted and circumstances conspire to force you to slow down or temporary drop out and rest. This break is long overdue. You need to revitalize yourself. It is also a card of incarceration be it in jail, in the hospital or simply time out for rest. Reverse - depression. Exhaustion caused by relentless turbulence. Controversy. A need for caution as stress can effect your health. Precaution. Desire to recover what was lost. Guarded advancement.
