The Wheel of Fortune

The Wheel
of Fortune signifies that wherever the seeker is in life, he or
she is able to change at a moment's notice - think of the carnie
man spinning the wheel of fate: "round and round she goes,
where she stops, no one knows.". If he or she is at the bottom
of the wheel, things may start looking up. If he or she is at the
top of the wheel, the seeker can just as easily fall off. Sometimes
readers use reversals to determine which way the seeker's fortune
will turn. It is a change of fortune and/or Karma. This is a turning
point in your life.
This card
could also signify that an opportunity will present itself, but
only for a limited time. The seeker must take action during that
time or the opportunity will be lost. It is the beginning or end
of a cycle.
If the seeker
is in search of an answer, this card suggests taking a step back
and looking at "the big picture".
Reversed
- Same as above but either enhanced or diminished. Being held back
by lack of opportunity. Interruption or inconsistency due to unexpected
events. Outside influences not expected.
Note: With
this card, it is important to look at it in context with the surrounding
cards to know which way the wheel is turning, so to speak.
