The Hanged Man represents self-sacrifice. The seeker must decide to give something up to attain something else that he or she wants. If the seeker does not make that choice, he or she may stagnate. It could also signify that it is time to look at the situation from another angle. It might signal a time to reverse your order of doing thing. You are in a rut because of ridged ideas and concepts. It’s time to evaluate how you think and your associations; they may be outdated. Make sure you avoid playing the victim. Reversed - Skewed reality. Futile attempt to revise something after time has passed. Refusing to accept reality. Playing the Martyr. Psychological blocks. Not knowing went to call it quits and end your suffering. Lack of sacrifice. Failure to make an effort. Ego.
