Tarot and
Magick
Tarot cards
can be incorporated into your magickal workings as focal points.
They are natural at stimulating the subconscienceness
Choose a card to represent
the issue you want to overcome or a goal you wish to achieve and
place it on the altar as a focal point. The trick is to choose cards
that not only visually depict what you want but also evoke the strongest
emotional response to your desired outcome.
Below you will find two
examples of using Tarot cards in magick.
Abundance
spell
Need: One green candle;
cinnamon; the Tarot card that most represents wealth and financial
abundance to you; money and coins.
Lay the card face up.
Surround it with the money. Place the candle at the head of the
card and light it. Focus on the imagery of the card. Imagine your
bills being paid and money coming to you. Sprinkle cinnamon on the
flame saying:
Coins
of Silver and Gold
Bring me fortune and wealth untold
Riches come through every door
To make my money ten times more
Snuff the candle and
wrap it in the bills and tie it up with green string.
Transformation
Ritual
This is good for any
circumstance in which you are struggling.
Need: 1 black candle,
1 white candle, 1 Tarot card representing your challenge; 1 Tarot
card representing your desired outcome
Place the black candle
on the left with the challenge card below it, face up.
Place the white candle
on the right with the card of transformation, face down.
Light the black candle.
Focus on the challenge card. Think about your situation and energy.
Imagine channeling that energy into the candle, infusing the ways
with the problem. When ready say:
Candle
black and candle white
Heal this dankness with your light
I now release this plight to be
transformed by love so I am free
Turn the challenge card
face down. Light the white candle. Turn the transformation card
face up. Focus on the positive imagery and energy of the card. This
time, infuse yourself with the energy, imagine the candle charging
you and your desire with vital life force.
Thank the deities and
let the candles burn out themselves.
