A card a day/night Drawing a Tarot card daily can help prepare you for the day ahead. Drawing one at night can focus your dreams and your subconscious. Drawing a Tarot card for the day can be done two ways. Shuffle the deck while asking what you need to know to get through the day. Then draw one card. At the end of the day, write down the card and how it related to your day in a journal. Keeping a record will draw attention to any reoccurring themes that might pop up. A second way is to divide the deck into two piles, the major and minor Arcana. Shuffle both decks. Pull one card from each. The Major Arcana card will give you the underlying influences of the day. The Minor Arcana card will refer to the major event of the day and can contain a built-in strategy. If it is a court card, it refers to a person or an aspect of yourself which will be prominent.
