The 13 Moons

Note: There are many different names for each of the full moons. I am providing two charts here. The first are "basic" or "standard" moon names. The second is Llywellyn's full moons for 2005.

A fertile time, it is a time to be productive.
May
The Dyad Moon
This is a good time to finish projects. This is one of the most power moons of the year.
June
The Mead Moon
This is a time for transformation and change.
July
The Wort Moon
This is a time for personal spiritual harvest
August
The Barley Moon
This is a time to remember the cycle of the year and how we are a grain in the universe
September
The Wine Moon
or The
Harvest Moon
This is the time to be still and listen to your spirit and the wisdom within
October
The Blood Moon
The moon of the hunt, it symbolizes a time to thank and honor the animals
November
The Snow Moon
This is a time to slow down and contemplate and regroup
December
The Oak Moon
Symbolizes the male aspect of the divinity and the natural flow between the worlds of the mundane and spiritual
