When looking back the moon and stars inspired me to no end, and I always wondered if there was something more. My journey started before I was born and I realized that one time in particular. I confronted my mother when I was no older then 8 and said I found it hard to believe she was my mom (not disrespectfully). She, laughingly, got all the photo albums out of me as a baby, but I kept looking up at the sky for a reason that was beyond me at that moment.

I lived my life in woods, jungles on beaches and in the mountains and everywhere I got inspired by the land and its people, especially the connection they had together. My shelf is full of shells and stones (which are still one of the things I focus on most in daily Magick) and animals were and are always around me. So it's no surprise I am now an Eclectic Wiccan because of all the different cultures I met early on in my life.

Dreams were of instant interest to me, and I found that I usually could explain my dreams instinctively, so I started reading a lot to try and get to know more. Reading was the key to my growth in the beginning and I found my way through so many (slightly lesser known) books.
I practiced a lot with the Tarot and after years of waiting and searching I found the right Tarot set for me and am actively trying to learn and experience all there is to it, as my thirst for knowledge never ends.

I flowed into Reiki as well (I was the only one going through with it, my friends had all sorts of excuses) and after some years I had become a Reiki Master. This is most helpful to me when doing Healing Magick and is something I love to do daily.
There is only one thing which moves me as deeply as when doing Magick, and that is listening to music. It takes me away to beauty and inspiration, and I sometimes make poems, drawings or write about all the different things I feel and try to express to the outside world.

At the moment I am still a student and study (medical) biology, in the Netherlands, as I was also interested in how life worked physically. So I am a typical down to earth Witch who combines Magick and science. It surprises me how much one fits with the other and even how they overlap!

Monthly I try to go to an open coven nearby and celebrate the Sabbats together with some friends. Interacting with people and sharing knowledge feels very right to me and it's with pleasure that I respond to as many posts on the forum as possible and to give you my thoughts!
